Extend MS Office Trial Period

How to extend Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 trial to 180 Days?

Microsoft has been allowing potential customers to try their products before committing to a purchase. This has been a great service by Microsoft in my view. Especially when we need to use a specific software to do a certain job while not having the money in the bank to purchase the product just yet. Another reason can be that we never know if we need that product beyond the 30 trial days anyway. So a trial period is certainly the way to go! Thank you Microsoft.
But what happens when the trail is over and you still need more time to decide? searching for a trial extension tool can lead you to downloading tools that take care of the problem but usually cause you to install unwanted software to your computer, or some dangerous programs.
Thankfully, Microsoft has made it easy to extend the trial to a total of 180 Days. It is easy and simple enough that you can do it yourself in less than two minutes.
Follow the steps found here and you should be good to go: Open up an Explorer window and navigate to the following folder:

(32 bit Windows OS)

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\

(64 bit Windows OS), Navigate to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\

Look for:

OSPPREARM.EXE

Double Click on it to run it or open the run command window and run it from its directory.

That’s it, you can repeat this process 5 times to give you another 30 days each time.
